Wang Yayu is the director of Office of Academic Planning and Development in Tsinghua University. He was the head of Department of Physics and dean of School of Sciences in Tsinghua University. His research interests include strongly correlated electron systems, high temperature superconductivity, and topological quantum matter. He has been honored with the First Prize of National Natural Science Award, William L. McMillan Award in Condensed Matter Physics, Sir Martin Wood China Prize for Low Temperature Physics, Science and Technology Award for Chinese Young Researchers, Huang Kun Prize, XPLORER PRIZE, among others.
